PGMOL desperately trying to help Lfc. The best outcome for us as they are so close to her other 5 that they will be forgetting about us and focus on getting 3 points against City. A defeat or draw today would have meant that their chances of top would have been minimal but safe in a Europa place. Definitely a good result for us !
been told no mention of tommy smith RIP on motd or salah racism. not that the bbc are bias of course or they save that for tonites highlights if any
Roy will #rollover harder than that, today we just need our 3 points and then the pressure is on City
Palace in full #rollover mode Zaha put clean through refuses to take the ball Sterling gifted an open goal but misses from 8 yards
Kompany gets the benefit of the doubt again with a dodgy looking tackle and city go on to score. Is there a Fernandinho and Kompany Rulebook for them? They get away with a lot
Why has the keeper taken up the dad in goal against his kids stance, I know sterling is only little but he must realise he's not in his back yard
Kompany has been getting away with nasty fouls for years at least Fernandinos fouls are "just" cynical normally.
I just want some one to give a city a game at least. How many games have city scored a goal in the first 15 now ? Put a tackle in, get the crowd in it. Most teams sit back and wait to get beat, which is fine away from home but you have to involve the crowd when you're at home or your advantage goes.
City will most likely win every game left in the league - there’s nothing we can do about it other than win everything ourselves and hope somebody flukes a win against them - it does happen but it is unlikely.
This is half the problem atm. The majority of the league has resigned to losing to Man City before the season has started and that they'll win the title. Its dangerous to the future competitive nature of the league. So at the moment the teams from 7-20 probably go into City games thinking they'll lose so when they do nothing is really lost, imagine if this thinking spreads to the top6 teams. Suddenly you've got a league like Scotland, where one team wins everything and the rest are scrapping for what's left
When was the last time Man Utd didn't go into a City game in damage limitation mode? Apart from the 2-3 where Man City literally didn't even bother coming out for the second half it's been a non-event for years.
