Which if you had read the article you would have realised that she is not. The comments were made on social media when she was 17 and were followed by a LMFAO which is hardly a sign that this was her manifesto for 7 years in the future.

The fact that she has been elected president of the national student body suggests she is probably not trying to force Sharia on student campuses and her speech on election also highlighted campaigns against racism and sexism on campus. Also her idea for after study work visas for graduating overseas students surely fits with the governments plans for immigration based on expertise.

She sounds now as though she has grown into a Muslim woman to be proud of - one who is politically motivated and not afraid to speak her mind.

 

That wouldn’t make a good topic for an attention-seeking thread though.
