Watching it live here in Oz and boy is good viewing so far. Totally outplayed them so far. I just hope they don’t sit back!!
Oh my dear I just saw the score at 3-2 so please hang on City because to give up a 3-0 lead would be a shame.
Another great 3 points. 3 I didn’t think we would get before the game tbh. We are in a very strong position to make the play offs now. Huge game vs Villa on Sat. Worried that playing twice a week for 3 weeks straight may be too much for some, Fammy, Brownhill and Pack looked very tired late in the second half.
Tremendous City performance by City and I disagree that Fammy should have been subbed. Thought he did a very difficult job against top Championship defenders. Looks a bit ugly but I'll bet his teammates and LJ appreciate the role he played. Well done Fammy and City.
Thought Fam was brilliant tonight , only thing missing was a goal , he’s been on it since the international break . Well done that man.
Terrific performance, quality result against a top team, congrats to all players and management, it makes you proud to be a RED.
Another good result - a shame Da Silva's shot hit the post as this could have been a walloping rather than a close-run thing. Hopefully this means we'll hit the playoffs and in good form. One of Leeds, Sheffield United & Villa will be favourites but we can dream...
Villa need to get points on the board as they’ve got Leeds then Norwich as their last two games. They go to Rotherham tomorrow fighting for survival so hopefully they make them sweat and knackered. Our games don’t look that great as out of the six four are away.
Great win! Had my phone on a stream whilst having a meal in a nice restaurant in Budapest - couldn’t resist it (on ‘silent’ though with respect to other customers!!!) Why can we beat the top teams but drop points against the struggling sides?
Boom what a great result tonight. Cracking atmosphere. Desilva,Webster,Baker,Fammy top displays. Get a point at Villa Saturday that will put us with one foot in the playoffs.
Thought the players were excellent tonight, put a massive shift in......nervy last 20 mins but hung on well.....Agree Fammy played very well as did Desilva and Webster......thumbs up to Matty Taylor at the end, just to play it out for time.. 10 out of a possible 12 points looks good......Villa up next, gonna have everything crossed for that one!!
I am down in the depths of Cornwall, we were 3-0 up my wi-fi dropped and I was in sh#t street, when I got connectivity back we were 3-2, god I suffered but we got a deserved result, onward and upward to Villa...
