Seriously?! they do a red card challenge and don't even get a yellow, but they sent off a Preston player!?
Leeds lead because the ref helped them out, and Preston haven't bothered to play against such a small club
Don't care about Stoke. The state of Leeds though.... Jesus! They will now say they played so well the opposition couldn't play against it? But will still say we are lucky or fluky or something
To be honest, I’m not sure I care too much about Leeds either. We just need to focus on decent results (they don’t even need to be stellar!) from here on in and then we will be comfortably champions - Leeds and Blades can do what they like now.
By my reckoning the straight red card could mean that Stoke will be minus Martins when we play them, unless there's a successful appeal. West Brom's defeat means that if we win or draw against Reading the Baggies would have no mathematical chance of catching us unless they score 15 goals more than us if we lose all of the rest of our games. A win would also preserve our current 7-8 point leads with just 5 games to play as the squeeze tightens on the Blades and Leeds.
Every games a massive one. Early goal please on the menu tonight! Got to go to my family for dinner tonight because of the engagement stuff. But hoping I can watch the game. Let her deal with the questions.
As it stands, Stoke and Blackburn are all-but safe from relegation, so hopefully "on the beach" when we play them.
