There was a tv programme on yesterday where Rick Stein visited Bologna....looked fantastic with superb food. I'm finicky about food (in a bad way) but I fancied everything...tortellini being the local speciality. Apparently Bologna is regarded as the place for food by Italians. He visited a parmesan producer and a shop where they hand-made tortellini. There is a tall tower (one of previous hundreds that filled Bologna in mediaeval times)...you'll need oxygen to climb up, but Stein made it so why not. Look wonderful....enjoy.

We were in Sicily 2017 east coast stayed in Acitrezza and Catania, handy for Etna. We're going back later this year staying at a friend's apartment in Taormina which is touristy but beautiful. There's a lot to see, may rent a car and venture west also a night or two in Palermo. Public transport fun if you're not on a tight itinerary. Food and wine excellent we try to eat, drink and stay in small local places. We've stumbled across some amazing places not quite getting lost but almost. Do it you'll love it.

Sicily on my bucket list. My view of it has always been tainted a bit by my mother's view (probably correct) that in the 60s, 70s & 80s it was a hotbed of organised crime & Mafiosa.

Since I think it was 1992 where the Sicilian Mafia bombed and killed two anti Mafia Judges (seen as an attack on the state by Italians) and the subsequent imprisonment of the head of the Sicilian family (think he died too), they have been virtually annihilated from prominence and moved to dare I say it my mother's home town of Naples and other cities in that coast.

In short (<laugh>) from what I have heard it is lovely and probably one of the nicest areas to visit in Italy :)

I liked your post, not the nutter on the Uke. George Formby has got a lot to answer for.

Ah well, if you can't get a #midfielder or #striker, a keeper will do

If you can't find a keeper, maybe get the opposite. An Antti keeper maybe :)

The pharmacy, at Southampton General Hospital, seems to be going through a difficult time, if my recent experiences with it are anything to go on.
Three weeks ago, when I went to collect the second part of my wife’s chemotherapy treatment (the first part is the infusion at the hospital, the second part pills to be taken at home) they were out of stock of a basic anti sickness pill. And to make things more worrying, they couldn’t even find my wife’s made up prescription, so had to make it up a second time.

Today, the pharmacy was missing 50mg Etoposide capsules, which is chemotherapy in tablet form, that has to be taken over the next two days.
They eventually got around the shortage by changing the dosage, slightly, and issuing 100mg capsules, but a little bit concerning that there should be issues two times running.
Let’s hope they don’t lose the two litres of blood, my wife is being given tomorrow!

Anyone know the deal with NOW TV passes? Need to sort something for GOT, and got rid of Sky.

Is it a case of buy pass, log in and watch on the lap top?

    Almost.
They'll make you download the now tv player before watching though.

If you've not had now tv before the deals on their stick or box may be your best value option.

Or there are some cheap passes on ebay at present due to the mcdonalds promotion.
