    Aintree Thursday has always been kind to me. Most of the favs look solid so stuck on some multiples.
    La bague
    Band of outlaws
    Bristol De mai
    Buveur dair
    Burning ambition

    See how these get on before looking at the last 2 races

    pretty much agree with all of that, although I see the money has come for Kemboy in the 2.50, and I think the 2.20 has quite a bit of depth to it.

    the horse I would really like to see win is FAUGHEEN taking on Buveur D'Air

    Only doing the telly races, so LBAR can manage without my dosh, and Miss Heritage in the bumper looks reasonable in a field packed with potential.

    2-50 Kemboy, who carried my ill-fated cash lto and owes me!
    3-25 Faugheen, who may no longer be a machine, but surely has the best trip for his current level
    4-05 Burning Ambition
    4-40 Lady Buttons :emoticon-0152-heart Need I say more? Well I will ..... 2 mile chasing is her optimum game, love her to bits, but worried that Cheltenham may have left it's mark.

    It's more like January out there; blimey, hope those going today have multiple layers on, thermals, hats and gloves required.
    Hot tea should be the tipple of choice :emoticon-0162-coffe

    Like many, it's hard for me to see past the favourites in the first 4.
    I'm hoping Greensalt is good enough for a place in the 4.05 ( 28/1, 5 places ) and I'm tempted by Adrrastos in the 4.40.
    I quite like the look of Timetochill in the 5.15.

    Really looking forward to this first race at Aintree, top class renewal. No money down but I am rooting firmly for Glen Forsa.

    I can't believe Kalashnikov has won that - well done Woolly if you were on. Glen Forsa belted the last in the back which ended his challenge, Bags Groove never in it, Le Bague Au Roi found very little up the straight. Mengli Khan ran a decent race, as he did at Cheltenham, so through him the form looks reasonable. I just can't understand why the mare found so little, she paddled over the last 2. Be interesting to see the time.

    The mare isn’t one to back at the Cheltenham and Aintree Festivals. Form figures before today at those meets of -7767. In her other races - 14/15 wins.

    well,yes,but to her credit,she fought back right to the line,so no shame to be beaten by a very good horse.so,if she stays sound next season,skys the limit again,i think..

    aintree,2 20:

    FAKIR D OUDAIRIES is another one,who lost no caste in defeat at cheltenham,as it was always going to be tough as the only 4 year old in the field.now back against his own age group,should run very well,and has been dropped a few pounds as well..

    Looks like bloody hard work at Aintree, Buveur D'Air should walk it now that the ground has gone against the mare.

    Fair play Pentland Hills..I think Princess owns a small slice of this one doesn't she? Well done.

    I wonder how many times we will see this over these 3 days..some horses running poorly (Band of Outlaws) after Cheltenham yet some running well like the winner. Makes it quite tricky picking a winner cause you never know.

    aintree,2 50: BETWAY BOWL

    i d say,if one horse really deserves to win a big pot this season,its the consistent ROAD TO RESPECT.he had his fair share of bad luck so far this season,but still running with great credit every time,including in the ryanair chase last time out..ok,purely on form,no reason why he should turn the savills chase form with kemboy around,but every race is different,and if he copes with the ground,i fancy him to run a big race here..

    Poor year for the Juveniles, think Sir Erec was probably the one given his flat form.

    Fakir Doudaries well beaten in Supreme getting weight suggests that wasnt a vintage renewal.

    Klassical Dream appears to be the only possible new kid in the Champion Hurdle division so Buveur Dair has every chance again next year.
