In that case there's never been a #worldclass save since GKs shouldn't be #exposed to shots in the first place
Jockeying til a shovelfoot hoofs it over the bar is not world class. It's canny, smart, wise even.. there was nothing else he could do but at this point it's more arselicking by Neville than detailed analysis. If the guy had fired his shot in top corner ala wanyama last year then theyd not be saying it .... thsts punditry for you
Lovren would have been in Matip's position and he would have won the initial ball prior to the 2on1 happening
nah mate youd have done the same. let's not 'll get carried away just.cos Matip fell.over 2 or 3 times and made vvd look better
Nah, I have seen that movie. Lovren gets beaten by the bounce and made a fool of and hooked after 30 mins.

So there I was, with a few mates in the smoking area outside the Old Bank(pub) in Page Moss, suddenly at the traffic lights nearby there was lots of police motor cycles and blue lights. It was the escort for the reds team on their way to Melwood from the airport. Everyone in the pub ran out and was cheering and dancing, this had nothing to do with the official parade and the open top bus for the official parade. Anyway, we were thinking how lucky we were that we'd seen the lads and carried on with our hangover cure of having more beer. About an hour later coming the other way towards us was a mass of blue lights, it was the team on their way to Allerton Maze to start the official victory parade, the coach driver had the Champions League trophy in the front next to him and pulled up outside our pub with the horn blasting, the pub like many others was decked out with flags and red and white bunting and we showed our love and appreciation to the players who were dancing and singing inside their coach. The game wasn't the best in football terms, it was a blur in terms of nerves and how quickly it seemed to go by but i feel extra lucky that I(and the others in our local)got to see the team and trophy before all the other adoring reds fans on the official homecoming. Thank you LFC(and the Ellisons coach driver)for making things real for us even though we didn't get a ticket for the game. ALLEZ ALLEZ ALLEZ!
Yeah, when I saw the coach I ran in the pub to tell them shouting at the top of my voice, they must have thought I was a raving lunatic.. But yeah it was great.
We went to the Maze (it's just up the road) stood a bit further back this time to get a better view when everyone was clambering to get to the front. Waiting for the parade bus to arrive I looked up and spotted two quite young lads (I'd say about 12-14) climbing up the tiled roof of the bank on the corner. They were actually standing on the ridge. I was worried sick they'd fall and I nearly missed the team bus when it finally turned up because I was so distracted. Got a few blurry pics on my phone and a great one of Klopp.
Yeah, the countless smoke bombs never helped along the route as with your experience I saw some iffy vantage points taken by fans when I watched it on LFC TV. We're lucky to have seen many homecomings down the years but I was made up for the kids in the crowds.
I said on the match thread that those who went to the parade will remember that more than the game itself, which apart from the result, was unspectacular. There were loads of little ones (and plenty of old timers tbh) by us. Let's hope these parades are common place for their generation.
