The battle for 4th is hotting up. For the first time in a long while the mancs will want us to beat the Spurs. There could be 3 teams in the same number of points after this round.
Just watched the highlights of Utd’s game. LVG was spot on. Utd under OGS park the bus and counter. The only difference between how they are playing now and how they played under Jose is that they are now defending better and breaking with more confidence.
square pegs in square holes. Pogba, just go do what you do. martial left. rashford centre lingard right when fit But.... I think we are really forgetting who turgid and restrictive lvg was. he drilled any joy or creativity out of them.
Ferguson- cheater no he- utterly.out of depth and a donkey lvg - turgid mourinho - nasty negative twat. the reality however is ogs has Ferguson's **** cbs still and de gea he has lvg's ander herrera and luke shaw and martial.. and he debuted lingard too he has rashford and Pogba and matic from mourinho.. and lindeloff too. so... moyes left no legacy at all.. hardly unexpected off two short windows. but it took ogs to finally see the end of the gifting at mop head. square pegs, square holes is what he has done. matic and Herrera in midfield... screening the **** cos and making them look hero's. etc etc etc. there has to be some level of credit to ogs for just doing that.
no idea why moyes is auto corrected to that. But utd needed an autocorrect.on their hiring process and probably still do
Aye. LVG like always is looking at it with tinted glasses. I remember their fans tearing their heart out with the sort of sleep inducing football that would put their fans off and crying for some exciting football rather than 80% possession and 0-0 at home. I remember many of the manc fans at work saying they’ve stopped watching football and won’t return unless he’s gone. I remember ridiculing a post match interview after a particularly boring 0-0 against a minnow where he declared that his team had played really well because they had 80% possession. What was their shots on target ? 2. It had to be bad when they embraced Mourinho (at least initially) as a provider of exciting football
Mourinho wins things, and they wanted that back. They just weren't used to being also-rans and were prepared to turn a blind eye to the risk of boring football in order to regain success. However there's only so much you can take, and his falling out with his players just compounded the issue. I don't claim to be a #footballgenius but I said when they appointed him that I thought he was entirely wrong for them.
he was in the mix when lvg was appointed and they turned thier back on him then and he went to Chelsea I think they knew exactly what you have said there but after lvg just ignored their instinct on mourinho and proved how stupid they were. I mean... moyes, lvg, mourinho... there's.many a manc who's whined on and on about it's not the Utd way... 2 up and 2 wingers blah blah plastic blah
Possibly the dullest Old Firm game I've seen in a while - suppose when Scott Brown is seen as talented it's not going to be high quality! Sent from my G3112 using not606 mobile app
No surprise to see Morelos sent off yet again! Ridiculous elbow! Sent from my G3112 using not606 mobile app
