Probably up to New Year's day....
But since then only 5 points out of a possible 50 odd or so.....good job we had 39 points in the bank otherwise we would be down by now based on this crap form...

Very strange match.
Strange team selection. Hemed was never really present. Wells very different when he came on but was seriously clutching his groin at Ft...was he playing with an injury?
BOS played ok...but no final ball.
Defence all over the place. Hall injured again at HT..
Lynch really dire...both backs poor. Defensive midfield awful, although Scowen came in to the match in last 20 minutes.. Freeman was ineffective, as was Smith when he came on

Its been said many times,Mclaren is a good coach but not a Manager..imo a fair few matches could been a lot more positive with a Manager who kicks some A*** when its needed.

 

I was someone who thought he should be given a chance but that is slowly evaporating......

 

Can we afford to offload MaClaren?
When does his contract expire?
How on earth did he ever get the England job?
How can he be so tactically handicapped?

His team selection and tactics today were so far off the mark that I am wondering whether he really wants to carry on. Hemed against Wheater and Beavers? who's going to win that one?
I have been crying out for Pav and BOS on the wings with Freezy in the middle, So when he eventually tries it, he thinks umm, Hemed on his own, against the two biggest centre backs in the division. Imagine if he had half a brain and played Wells and Smith in a 442?
I am ****ing annoyed!

 

I dunno such a confusing season....

Start with worst losing run in history.....then scramble some welcome wins including....then play really well and outplay villa sheff wed millwall etc... then throw a cup tie at Blackpool saving the side for following Saturday only to see us stuffed at Swansea.....then win away at forest first time ever and get within 4 points of play offs.....unlucky to only get a point at villa on New year's day....win 2 cup ties and very unlucky against Watford...but only win once in league since then against Leeds of all teams playing brilliantly but have lost 10 of other 13 games....although there were a series of unfortunate events in 4 or 5 of those games....

As I say totally confused...

 

It's a good job we had an ex England manager, the international break and a fully fit squad and the chance to train for two weeks and we were playing a team in the relegation zone at our home.

I would hate to think what would have happened otherwise.

Shambolic display again, WTF is going on at the club! 2 reasonable winnable games & blown both with inept displays, thought Freeman was very subdued today, wingers in good positions but final ball was crap again, we had nothing, so pissed off with them & mac I really don’t know how is still manager with all these defeats & performances.

 

4-4-2 is rarely the solution to anything imo.

 

Could it possibly be that we have very, very average players?

 

Yes & some think we’ve got a good team here Really!

 

Average players, average manager, average ground. Millions and millions and millions spent and we end up average. That takes some doing.

 

It could but the fault lies with a very, very poor manager who has lost what little mojo he had. and let's not forget a very, very idiotic bunch of owners who have no patience and, certainly, no eye for talent.

 

We’ve played worse against better teams and got points this season but this ****’s had his chances. Fortunately the absolute ****e below us will see us scrape another season at this level but for the love of god stop playing these wasters who won’t be around next season. Get the kids back from their loans- they’re better than what we’ve got.

Lynch and ****ing Hemed. **** my ****ing life.

Not sure that Rotherham or Bolton have got better than very very very average players either.
But I am not asking QPR to beat Leeds ( ???!), I'm just asking them not to lose to Rotherham or Bolton

Yep we were so average up to New Year's day that we took 39 points from 23 games....that was play off form....

Since then gawd knows what has happened to them....
