Voted Blackadder and Young Ones, the same writing team Ben Elton, Rick Mayall, Alexi Sayle and Lise Mayer.

Same team behind the briliant Comic Strip series.

Only seen a few of the ones on the list, of those Only Fools and Horses probably my favourite. Red Dwarf was ****, only saw one episode of Fawlty Towers and didn't like it either

Favourite comedy though is South Park by quite some distance

Rising Damp was hitty miss but Leonard rossitters performances were outstanding. As was his cameo in steptoe and son. That episode was the best one

Bottom, porridge, steptoe, Hancock, bilko, early only fools, blackadder 2 to 4, possibly not in order.

Ronnie Barker in porridge. Wouldn't think he was acting. Made it seem effortless. Also held open all hours together. Without him it would have been poor.

His use of language and wordplay in comic scriptwriting is unsurpassed. Exceptional talent imo.

I think that was his first screen role but I may be wrong. The Fall and Rise of Reginald Perrin was also hitty miss but once again he was outstanding. The same with a lesser known Tripper's Day I think had potential to be the same largely down to Rossitter but sadly he died before enough were made.

Can't ignore the writing genius of Graham Linehan. Responsible for Father Ted, Black Books, and the IT Crowd.

Love that show, ****ing bonkers. Rik Mayall was a legend.

Also loved Filthy, Rich and Catflap. Only ran for 1 series, but you can see the direction it was going as the characters morphed into the Dangerous Brothers, then on to Bottom.
