We even beat them away this year, 1-2 in December, Eze and Freeman scored. Bolton have lost 4 of their last 5, and find themselves 8 points adrift of safety, and only 5 points off bottom of the league Ipswich. Sammy Magennis (7), Sammy Ameobi (4) and Mark Beavers (4) are their highest scorers, even worse than our top scorer stats. Also worth a special mention to the man who took one for the team, received the greatest red card in history, and paved the way for Bobby to break the hearts of all Derby fans. Gary O'Neil, I hope you are warmly welcomed back to Loftus Road. I will put more up tomorrow/Thursday, about any team news from the official.
If we don’t beat this shower, an imploding club, then we can move to defcon 1 and retreat to the bunker until the nuclear winter fades.
Like it or not, this is a pivotal game for our club but it is was for Bolton too. They will have targeted us for a point and maybe even an audacious three. There are no easy games in football. I predict an energetic start from QPR who will grow in confidence if we score early on but who will wobble in confidence if we fail to score despite good pressure. I predicted the banana skin against Rotherham. Not seeing the same here but we might need to settle for the point. Have to declare a slight conflict of interest here. About 6 yrs ago on a beach in Gambia, met a random English couple whose son had just taken over as licensee at The Kent in Ealing which is nearest pub to me. Had a slight soft spot for them since. Possibly negated by Clint's goal that should have been but never was!
After a two week break, now is the time to bounce back with a win. We need this now, not next game or in a months time, right now! Over to you, SM
I thought I'd seen my last game against Stoke, but I'm going to this. Surely got to be an improvement on that game I have seen my last game this season. Thwarted by engineering works again
Couple of previews from Clive to go with the morning cuppa........ https://www.fansnetwork.co.uk/membe...9993/another-big-efl-success-story--interview https://www.fansnetwork.co.uk/membe...olton-reject-who-starred-for-rangers--history
Sad to read that about any club (except Millwall) so wish Bolton all the best but only after our three points on Saturday of course .
Thank God football is back to release us from the despair and wretchedness of the Politics thread and into the despair and wretchedness of supporting QPR.
I believe there is a Tiger Feet 10 video being shown at half time on the big screen at LR. You may spot some of the Hoops Down Under members making fleeting appearances. Good luck with walk all involved.
