Now back in the day when I was partial to doner and chips, I would insist on the doner being crispy #crunchymeat
Oh dear, you've been reading too much vegan propaganda and are now regurgitating that bullshit as fact. Plenty of people have lived very comfortably on animal only, from all races, most famously Arnesson, the guy who beat Scot to the pole, twice; and Stefansson, who proved conclusively that you could live very healthily on animal only. Many others have also gone from a 'standard' herbivorous diet to an all animal one and not had any problems at all. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vilhjalmur_Stefansson
And you're just following the fad of the day. Google blue zones. You can eat just meat, but odds are you will die a lot younger than if you ate a more appropriate diet of mainly vegetables and high fibre. There's a reason people from Okinawa live 30 years longer on average than Inuit people. Vegan diets are not healthy either. For one, they typically have low levels of B12, iron, zinc, manganese, etc, and require supplements. Rather than follow the fad diet of the day, you're much better off eating sensibly. People have known for centuries eating your veggies is healthy... It's only been the last 40 years we've seen fad driven by commercial interests of "low fat", "low carb", "high protein", and now "high fat" (which for one is ridiculously stupid because it compromises your immune system). Remember Dr. Atkins, died morbidly obese of complications probably caused by his diet.
It was never anything more than a partial rehash of a similar diet plan by Michel Montignac. The difference being that carbs are included in the Montignac diet. The main idea is to never consume protein and carbs together.
I don't follow fad diets, have no interest in going keto, but after being bullshitted passed the point of constraint by vegans, and getting bored to tears by nearly 30years of my dad going on about nutrition cos he's a fatty that can't shed the pounds (he's as fit as **** though), I took the time to actually look into it thoroughly so I could easily shutdown the bullshitting proselytisers. I don't advocate any diet, I live to eat rather than eat to live, and exist on a childs fantasy of cake, cake and more cake. 'people have known for centuries' lots of things that are plain wrong and just go along with it because 'people have known for centuries etc etc'. People have known for decades that eggs have lots of cholesterol and cholesterol is bad, so eggs are bad, according to the science of that day, except that's also bollocks, as it doesn't get absorbed as cholesterol, as we've since discovered. It also depends on what you mean by 'meat', compared to what I mean by animal, I've already mentioned this on another thread, but eating muscle is not what I mean eating animal, you need to eat it all, heart, liver, kidney lungs, and plenty of fat. You won't have a problem ****ting, though though your **** it will be hard, but won't smell, according to the anecdotal evidence. Except that he died from a blood clot in the brain after slipping on ice and hitting his head on a pavement. He was 72 at the time
