Good round up of our players in international action and make sure to watch the video near the end showing Pukki's vital play in Finland's first goal with a deep run, excellent back heel and then assist for the goal. Pure Pukki magic!
Very interesting article from sportskeeda – After losing the impact of starlet James Maddison, Farke knew he needed to replace his most influential player. He brought in Argentinian, fleet-footed Emiliano Buendia from Getafe. Capable of making an impact with both feet, the silky winger is given the license to express his footballing ability amongst the creativity in behind Teemu Pukki. An example of where his first touch was broadcasted was against Hull City at home where he manipulated the ball elegantly onto his left foot before rifling a shot past Marshall. Ultimately, Buendia's contribution has been crucial in Norwich's rise in the Championship, scoring 7 and assisting 9 goals. Sorry Cromer – you’ll just have to read the rest vf the article – uless Rick posts more of it https://www.sportskeeda.com/footbal...championship-table-football-tactics-explained
This is the very least Teemu Pukki deserves after his exploits this term https://www.croatiaweek.com/luka-modric-honoured-with-special-postage-stamp/
With apologies for linking to the frightful Torygraph (I saw a link to this article direct, I was not browsing their website, honest) but this is a very nice article: https://www.telegraph.co.uk/football/2019/03/28/norwich-city-sane-crazy-league-likely-win-promotion/ Nothing we do not already know, but it’s good to see the nationals recognising Farke’s and the board’s sterling efforts (even if I’d generally prefer we stayed under the radar somewhat!)
Great to hear about the Board joining the fans before the Brentford match and it does reflect what is different about our club. Nice one Rob.
If you register just with your email you get a few free articles. It’s worth doing because every now and again they do have good sports news, a bit like the Guardian which I think is excellent for cricket and rugby.
Thinking back to the start of the season, imagine the position we'd be in now if we'd had a good start!
We’re getting a lot of attention now, an article on Onel: https://www.theguardian.com/footbal...ez-cuba-carrow-road-norwich-city-championship Didn’t realise there has never been a Cuban born player in the PL
