I'd be more interested to hear the most positive post about Southgate when he was appointed

Pretty uninspiring would have been a common view

 

Just for the record, I thought Southgate was a **** appointment.

I'm not sure if I said so on here, but them were my thoughts.

You could read through the thread. Some weren't as harsh as those ignoramuses who called him the least inspiring choice. I would imagine the most positive said he should be given a chance and time would tell.
Must admit, he has done better than I thought he would. Good to see the amount of young players he is prepared to give a chance compared to some previous managers.
