Nah try clearing all of your browsing history, cookies cache etc. and then logging back in.

 

Ive just re started my laptop, tried again. When i click on the terrorism thread it takes me to post 1250... we are way past that.

But it's not every thread.

 

If you go incognito and sign in, you will see it works ok. Just tested from my mobile. So guess is as Libby said, you need to clear cookies.

 

If you switch it off and smash it against the side of the wall a couple of times, then switch it on it'll be ok

 

Restarting the laptop won't make a difference as your browser is connected to the site, if the site had an update or something earlier on it could be your account hasn't caught up to it or whatever, clearing all of that and signing back in should sort it.

This is kinda guesswork really but it makes sense and is what I did earlier.
