Oneida tribe? But there are potentially three or four to choose.

Dartford Warbler looks one of the few likely to run his race. He won off 91, which you would swear was a Flat rating, and then defied a 7lb rise to win again. The handicapper lobbed another 7 lb on and the stone up from his first win saw him only 4th next time. This is an awful race though and 1 lb lower might be enough in this old codgers race.

4.20 Haydock Dartford Warbler 4/1 would be my pick in a shocking contest where some of them look awful value.

Three Timeform squiggles in that race plus another four with question marks. The reason I put this race up is because I can’t believe it’s going to be run, heavy going with horses out of form, unreliable, lazy and or ungenuine.

It’s the not606 members race of the horse racing calendar.

Hills of Dubai for the McCain crook. Low mileage and has previously run well at Haydock including behind a Venetia horse that performed well in one of the festival handicaps last week. 13/2.

Oneida Tribe, Hills Of Dubai and Dartford Warbler... what do they have in common as does Bob Ford?

They all like to lead or at least race prominently which is another fascinating angle of this sudoku puzzle of a race. Will they set it up for a closer? Will anything be able to close on them?

Race of the season, it’s already created more debate than that filth last week!!
