The trouble is that when you mention it you get accused of bitterness. Chelsea won 2 or 3 trophies and were coming in the CL places before they were richer than God and they were slaughtered for "buying trophies". Yet City were truly awful. The year before they were taken over they had just finished the season 14th and scored 9 goals at home all season which was (and I think still is a record low). They are simply what they are due to money. But not content with bring the richest club they can't be arsed to even follow the rules that everyone else follows. Playing beautiful football does not change the fact that city have financially cheated and have not been punished like other clubs have. I ain't bitter cos city haven't won something we could of, however united have come second to them twice and I think Liverpool have too and I do not think that's ok.

I think it’s inevitable that Liverpool will eventually win the PL but obviously I’d prefer they didn’t win it this season... however, if City have secured a domestic treble and are facing Liverpool in the CL Final then call me Jimmy Corkhill cos you won’t find anybody more Scouse than me. I don’t care if Liverpool get 6 CL trophies, the thought of City outdoing our treble makes me feel sick.

The Liverpool not winning the league thing is just comedy now, I think they’re a great cup side so have come to terms with them grinding out big victories over the years. The league is harder to win, especially for them. If City get a transfer embargo for two years that would probably see Pep’s contractout so I wouldn’t fear any team doing the quad after this season.
