Also worth noting that Salah has played a lot of mins this season - more than Mane and Bobby. Perhaps he needs a rest ...
We could do with a game where we are winning easily so that we can take him off, can't see us not starting him as it would give the opposition such a boost.
I think it's more psychological than physical. He took the Prem by storm last season, but this time people are ready for him. He usually has 3 or 4 players on him in seconds whenever he's near the area. However, this gives space to others and so Mo would be more effective if he could manage a telling pass, rather than trying to take everyone on and get a shot in.
it must be said... Fulham.are woeful. absolutely awful and the chance was there to be 3 or 4 up in a half hour. they were that bad.
personally have nowt against ex players celebrating when they score against us as long as they don't try and rub our noses in it. I know i would be miffed if in the run in Wijnaldum scored against Newcastle & he didn't celebrate.
He can celebrate wildly if he scores a winner in the next game. He owes us for the shock he caused us on Sunday. It is only fair it has to be their next game.
But hard not to since he put his hands out in the usually ' look at me not celebrate' style that's become fashionable for some reason. Just celebrate ffs, you scored a goal!
Ironically, we wouldn't take him off in that situation as it would be a chance to boost his confidence (Unless he's already scored a couple)
I actually think the crowds put more pressure on him singling him out every time he does something I think at least 3 times he took wrong option and away crowd sung no salah at the top of their lungs. mane on other hand score and got nothing. if say it almost puts pressure on salah to do something special in his head.
