yup. hell say right so kids play day 1... keep Wilson and whoever and say ok you want o play for off this is where you do it and you might even get a game or two in league as well. but no. we now loan them all out then play scratch team with 16 and 17 year olds if you draw Chelsea and away to a prem team in fa cup you can say ok bad luck there but then you've got to play a decent team and try. when we played Plymouth we were a disgrace. replay to go through barely then we lose in next round. there's no defending what we do.
I know but I really don’t want City to win the quad - do not think it is good for football It is literally worse case scenario Think I would just hide somewhere for a season or two lol
well chelsea brought the cl eventually. do they really get credit for it? i don't think they do and rightly so.
I had a vision last night, from Star Wars. Picture the scene, a mighty sky blue battle cruiser is chasing down the rebel alliance space ship. On board the crew of the rebel ship are going bat **** crazy as the evil Darth Pep smashes down the doors. One man, Princess Klopp leans down to the little robot, and leaves a message. Please Ole Wan come to our rescue, beat the blue ****e and save the universe from total quadruple doom.
So how do people look at these results and conclude Man Utd has the better squad? Basically the same, except we are challenging for the PL and Man Utd are in a fight for top 4, and we didn't need VAR and Buffon to hand us our CL QF #meltdown is how
It will at least become a respectable competition if they apply the same rules to all fixtures and stop playing the semis at Wembley
It was important to Man Utd because they don't have a PL to challenge for (and their CL run is a false position)
Man City's squad cost twice as much as ours (illegally). Until the FA enforce FFP we have to focus on half as many competitions just to be on an even playing field.
Will be funny to watch the Man Utd fans though, they wouldn't be able to bang on about the treble then (whilst completing ignoring that we've won two trebles)
I don’t know I am sort of one of those who thinks they have a better overall squad but I think that we play better as a team generally as a rule so look better or certainly than them under Jose No real way of telling I suppose as there are so many variables I think my view is that right now we have the better manager and they have the better squad but I could not quantify how or why I think that. Where would Utd be this season with Klopp and I think they would be pushing for title And prob where they are in CL Who knows
Who, apart from astro, has named it such? The rest of us who weren't too gutted about our exit are simply being realistic in the understanding that we don't have the squad to compete on all fronts - and though we don't advocate throwing the competition, if anything has to go we'd rather it was the domestic cups over the PL and CL. This is only natural, imo.
Sorry if I appear to be picking on you, carl, but come on man - do you honestly think if Wolves had a snowball's chance of winning the CL they'd give a **** about the FA Cup? Your subsequent sentence neatly answers your own question.
Well if it wasn’t for Karius throwing one in you would possible have a CL for half the cost of City. Never mind, you have managed half as many trophies in last 10 years
