if you draw Chelsea and away to a prem team in fa cup you can say ok bad luck there but then you've got to play a decent team and try.


when we played Plymouth we were a disgrace. replay to go through barely then we lose in next round.

So how do people look at these results and conclude Man Utd has the better squad? Basically the same, except we are challenging for the PL and Man Utd are in a fight for top 4, and we didn't need VAR and Buffon to hand us our CL QF

It was important to Man Utd because they don't have a PL to challenge for (and their CL run is a false position)

 

Man City's squad cost twice as much as ours (illegally). Until the FA enforce FFP we have to focus on half as many competitions just to be on an even playing field.

I am sort of one of those who thinks they have a better overall squad but I think that we play better as a team generally as a rule so look better or certainly than them under Jose
No real way of telling I suppose as there are so many variables
I think my view is that right now we have the better manager and they have the better squad but I could not quantify how or why I think that.
Where would Utd be this season with Klopp and I think they would be pushing for title
And prob where they are in CL
Who knows

The rest of us who weren't too gutted about our exit are simply being realistic in the understanding that we don't have the squad to compete on all fronts - and though we don't advocate throwing the competition, if anything has to go we'd rather it was the domestic cups over the PL and CL.
