Yeah i think it's a good move - maybe Fryatt will actually start fighting for his place now.

Have to agree here. I'm sure Matty tries his hardest but I just think some people need that bit of extra incentive that competition for places brings.

Now come on for the last 20 and score a couple, Matty!

Agreed, Think Fryatt needed some competition, smart move to drop him to the bench in my opinion.

Nothing against Fryatt, but this is what i wanted to see, for this match atleast, so pleased about it (for now, we'll see how it pans out).

Bold choice by NP but one that paid off, and was the right decision in my opinion. Fryatt may be needed to be on the subs just to remind him that his place isn't garauteed.

Perfect summing up again Manuel !!!

My point exactly and IMO Fryatt should have stayed on the bench for the full game to give him some more thinking time and allow McLean the right to lap up the glory of scoring a goal and playing against his former club. I am sure McLean would still have offered more than Fryatt for the remainder of the game and I felt sorry for McLean been substituted.

I do rate Fryatt but he needs to know his name is not the first to go on the team sheet.

Where is Fryatts head at this season? He looks like a different de-motivated player this season so far. I hope NP can rejuvenate some morale or positivity back into Fryatt and get him hungry and fighting for his place again.

Agreed, no player should be guaranteed their place in the starting 11, everyone has to work for it, even if they show it in training, its no good if they don't work on the pitch, so maybe this will make Matty pick it up on the pitch
