Wow Wales have had absolutely everything go for them today. This game is done, fully deserved Grand Slam though.

 

Outstanding defence by Wales, and well done to Ireland for avoiding a whitewash!

Congratulations Wales, to Alan Wyn, and of course to Warren Gatland too.

 

Wopppeeeee!! Really didn't expect that, I honestly thought that Ireland would hammer us today. Well done, boys!!

It pains me to say it, but well done Cymru! I would never have believed at the beginning of the 6 Nations that they could do the Grand Slam, but fair dos, their defence is superb and they took their chances.
I don’t agree with some of the “experts” that this is the best Welsh team since the 70s, but they now have a chance to show that the Northern Hemisphere can compete in the RWC. Let’s hope they can smash the Aussies!

So, suddenly half of the best young tennis players in the world seem to be Canadian, after a drought in top-quality players that extends back roughly to the invention of tennis. At 18, Bianca Andreescu has made at least the semis in three of her last four senior-level tournaments, and has dropped just two sets en route to the finals at Indian Wells...as a wildcard entry.
