The camp guards weren't following orders. They were pissed half the time when carrying out their atrocities without an order in sight.

If soldiers can be prosecuted for following orders then I just find that bullshit.

How many of the Werhmacht were charged? Just your average German soldier who fought in the war?

Me and piskie debated similar before. The Nigerian army actually ended up committing more crimes than Boko Haram if I remember correctly. Rape and murder is clearly a war crime. I agree 100%

I'm not sure if it's a comparison that you guys are making but our boys have never went on a raping and murdering rampage, at least in the last 100 years unless I've forgotten something.

 

But they dragged women and children out of their homes, beat and tortured them...Well that was one post i read on here the other day, can't remember who posted it, but when i asked for examples, i never got a reply.

The thing that always pisses me off about ****s like him is when they try to use the deaths of British/Allied soldiers in WW2 as somehow being on his side. He did this whole paragraph on how he ended up at the military cemetery in France with the rows of white crosses and cried at the sacrifices they made - and it didn't click to the thick **** they died fighting people with the same fascist ideology as him

 

I'm unsure as to why countries armies like Nigeria are brought into it. Our army doesn't act like them or commit them sort of crimes. If all people have is one ****ing ****ty incident where a few Paddy's were taken out then we really haven't got much to worry about. Our army is fine. They do a great job and don't need these kind of people considering going charges against them.

They'd be the first to cry for some help from the very same soldiers if this country come under attack.

 

Some of the comparissons have been laughable.

I'll stick to what i said yesterday, IF this circus gets to trail, then it should be a court martial.

Suppose something has to happen for £175m and 47 years of enquiries.

 

I would never compare our boys to Nigerian troops. However, i have given extreme examples re Nigerian troops as way of debate, but certainly not as a like for like comparison.

If it helps it would be better to research my original question under the difference between terror and terrorism.
