So down to Brizzy tomorrow. Aribo may be out because he has not been well since Tuesday. Going for a 1-1 draw AllHell
On tuesday we hardly won a thing in the air when we attacked. So: Phillips; 5'3", Bauer, Pearce, Purrington; Lapslie, Cullen, Bielik, Reeves; Taylor, Naby.
With all the excitement of our imminent take over, and the exciting Brexit saga (which will happen first) it's easy to forget we have an important match away against Brizzle Rovers. Bow has us buzzing again, and while an automatic place looks tough (9 points in eight games or therabouts), it's nice to dream. And judging by the sold out away end, we have our share of dreamers. The Daily Mail has a piece on Aribo today after listing all of his attributes, they rather spolied it by claiming that he is worth £2.5m . Not without a contract he isn’t.
I won’t be going tomorrow, and neither will my fellow Bristol Rovers attendee last season @baraettmattesvensson That is one bastard of a ground to get to. Chalk off & never again.
With Bristol Rovers having little to play for, we should pick up the three points today. With a play off slot looking increasingly likely, Bowyer needs to learn the lesson of where he went wrong at the end of last season, where he effectively threw the Rochdale away game and we lost all momentum going into the play offs.
@baraettmattesvensson I think we will take 5,000 plus to Gillingham on the last day of the season. @brb will be shatting himself
A ground with character Donald, not like so many of these soulless plastic grounds we have nowadays. Give me Rovers over Ashton Gate any day of the week.
I realise you're wumming there BUT there will be a lot of Charlton there without tickets. Fylde v Halifax will be another matter..................
Turns out that Gillingham away is second last game of the season Last Saturday of the season (May 4th) we have a 5:30 home match against Rochdale.
Been there once. It ended 5-5, "Arthur" Shipperley scored one, and was, I thought, our only decent defender. The headline next day was Andy Nelson publicly lambasting Arthur, blaming him for the goals.
