I’m not even sure I’d say Forshaw is better at attacking - Phillips played a similar box-to-box role last season and hit 7/8 goals if I recall correctly? Can’t remember if Forshaw has even scored for us!
Good point, well made. Just trying to soften my confrontational persona. Phillips has always been a favourite of mine since I first saw him play in the u23s. Still think I was right in thinking he was a young Souness. Not quite sure he'll live up to the mature Souness standard, but he has every tool at his disposal to do so. Hope he does.
