Yeah it was meant to be tongue in cheek. I know he wasnt tapping him up. Spurs don't buy players anymore
I know what you mean, I sometimes listen knowing it's only a matter of time before I switch off in a rage! I miss Colin Murray, he spoke so much sense. He would never have been caught talking for an hour about how disgraceful it is for Jack Wilshere to go ice skating with his kids!
JWP is having a good spell...bit early to start worrying about him leaving. Wasn't that long ago that people were writing him off as someone who had peaked without reaching their potential.
Agreed. And it has taken him so long to earn a position in the team, he would be mad to risk this at a top 6 club. He'd be straight back on the bench. Right now we are the perfect place for him.
No chance. Different league of player and a completely different type of player. As much as I like JWP, It's a bit like selling a Maserati and buying a Golf GTI.
Or you could look at it another way and think because it has taken him so long to earn a position in the team that this last 10 games or so has been a purple patch and he would be mad to not take an offer from a top 6 club if it came along on the back of this spell as it might never come again
So could he and think that the reason a top 6 club want him is because he is ****ing good and he will break into their first team and not have to sit on the bench
