    Morning all..doing the following today:

    Defi Du Seuil
    Aso 40/1 (each way)
Paisley Park 15/8 and Black Op 12/1 (each way 4 places)

In the Pertemps I quite like the look of Aaron Lad. But not going to play.

    Good luck all...

Ok - here is what you have been waiting for. The avoiders.

Unfortunately for QM I have all his three, Oddy has 2 of his doomed and Stick - I might not be the measure of your dreams, but he carries my fortune.

    Defi Du Seuil
    Flemcara
    Frodon
    Paisley Park + Bapaume ew
    Siruh Du Lac
    Posh Trish
Measureofmydreaams - the name is taken from a lyric for my favourite Pogues' track Rainy Night In Soho. Not that will help in the race of course!

    Good luck all <ok>

    hi fellas!

    JLT NOVICE CHASE

very tough race to boot,as nearly all of these have a very good shout here.but MENGLI KHAN gets a very narrow vote from me,as ive always liked him, even if not without his quirks, but has loads of talent.sure,he has to step up on his recent form, but thats not impossible, with the ground possibly suiting him better now.so,if it all clicks today, decent e w chance..

Well, complete crap in the compo yesterday, hope for better today for the team.

    My money has gone here:
    1.30 Defi - just a little win bet :emoticon-0168-drink
    2.10 Flemcara e/w
    3.30 Black Op e/w

Today's free bet is going on Frodon, of course.

Good luck to all of you - working from home, what a great idea that is :emoticon-0148-yes:

Frodon is friendless with the racing tv so called experts. Kildisart in the jlt for me, his jumping needs to improve.aaron lad in the pretemps.west approach for the stayers. Splash of ginge in the mud at a price.
    Be lucky.

can't make my mind up in the first - so will be having a WIN bet on Defi du Seiul and an ew bet on Kildisart

2.10 another Geraghty horse is a big favourite, but it looks such a big field the price looks a bit short.
will have small ew bets on Champers on Ice and Wait for Me at 40/1 who was 10th in this last year

2.50 Monalee has a great chance, but would love to see Frodon win!

    3.30 Paisley Park

4.10 Lizzie Kelly is confident about Siruh du Lac (5 wins in the last 6) including at Cheltenham on trials day

3rd in last year’s Supreme, which is always good form and a race which tends to produce plenty of subsequent festival winners. Good price too, I’m on (hope I don’t jinx it)

I thought Lostintranslation gave it away with his jumping against Defi De Seuil last time. He had earlier beaten Defi De Seuil when getting three pounds and there isn't much between them on those two runs. Lostintranslation had put in a good run when trying to give seven pounds to La Bague Au Roi at Newbury and then blundered his chance away when they met again, barely managing to stay on his feet after an awful mistake.

La Bague Au Roi went to to make the most of his 7 lb concession when winning the Kauto Star at Kempton, beating Topofthegame and Santini, who were 1-2 in the RSA, so the form looks rock solid. I made it a choice between Defi Du Seuil and Lostintranslation today and with bigger odds available on the Tizzard horse I went for him in the hope that he can put in a solid round of jumping.

The Tizzard form is worrying, as several have pointed out already. He is just one winner from thirty nine runners this past fortnight and the Racing Post stats show him as only one third of his runners running to form in the same period. Even Vision Des Flos, who had run ten races in a row between 148 and 150, only ran to 17 lbs below the lower figure in the Coral Cup and that is concerning. For that reason I've put less on Lostintranslation than I normally would have done. Tizzard has said he feels the horse is a good prospect for the future and the Gelding won't properly be seven years old until the middle of May.

Lastintranslation 4/1 BOG was my pick.

Quality Defi, pounced late and put it to bed. Perfectly executed ride from BG.
