Hi guys just thought I'd introduce myself. I've previously been a bit of a lurker and signed up but will probably now start joining in with discussions as my new job allows me a bit more time to do so. My interest in racing is relatively new with a football injury freeing up my Saturdays, that year coincided with Sea The Stars' 3yo season and he got me hooked only for Frankel to come along a year later to cement this and now I'm a bit of a Frankel nut! Look forward to chatting to you all.
Is this a record? First post after 6 years of membership. As it's the big fight tonight Reggie, Sir Barney would , I'm sure, like to draw your attention to our active Boxing thread here ....... and if you like to follow what's going on as regards Brexit and the EU, and other topical political matters look no further than here. You've probably noticed that we discuss just about anything in our popular Discuss anything but horses thread here But of course, your favourite thread will be the one dedicated to Frankel here (which I've just noticed you have already found )
Well lads (and lassies). I've been following this forum of a couple of months but had trouble registering. I won my first ever bet at about age 5 or 6, a 50p place on course and got back 3 pounds, and well, you can guess the rest.... I freely admit to not being able to read form, I don't bet a huge amount as I'm not very good at it, but I love this forum because of the analysis people put up. Naturally, this is at its best on Saturdays. From what I've seen people on here can really spot value or a well handicapped horse. I took holidays this week, did the same last year and have vowed to never ever work again for Cheltenham, if possible, and hope to get there at least once in the near future. Honestly don't think I will have too much to contribute insight wise but will continue to check in here.
