Cracking result that. Bayern might not be the force they were 4-5 years ago, but they are a very very good team and their home record is second to none.

To go there and not only win but win pretty comfortably is a very impressive feat, especially given how it wasn’t even a great performance.

Well that was nice.

The only time I was concerned was the period of about 15 minutes were we kept winning the ball then giving it straight back to them. Getting the 1st goal was brilliant as they had to come out more leaving more space for our front three. Salah was not that good at times, but his pass for the 3rd goal was superb.

Salah is in third gear as was firmino and a number of others. No where near their best. So we won in third gear. The fact that 4th and 5th gear are currently broken is another matter ..
