Match Day Thread Vs Bayern Munich (A)

Matip's been good off the ball, but shaky and giving it away when he's got it. I do think he could have done better with the OG attempt than an awkwardly placed foot, but it's a bit harsh. He just doesn't fill me with confidence at all when he's so nervy, I hate watching him play.

 

Robbo was too eager to win the ball and got sucked in. Should have let him have it in front of him, wouldn't have been able to run in behind then

 

Yeah trent needs to show ribery down the line as he is more dangerous when he cuts in

 

They had words about 20mins in. Beforehand TAA had him under control but I think Ribery got into his head as TAA was a bit headless afterwards

 

Not a bad half, most have played ok in a very tight half.

As soon as the ball goes anywhere near are front three they are swamped by Bayern players, as our midfield is all stood on the half way line there is no one to pass it back to.

We are missing the am link again. Milner is great in an all action smash people up match, but in Europe he just looks like a yard dog. Gets by passed very easily.

 

Well we have what we need now just hold onto it .

I don’t see the nervousness that others do tbh. I think he’s one of the most confident players we have on the ball.

I actually get excited when he’s on the ball because I know he’s trying to be progressive.

I’m watching on my phone but are we playing 433 or 4231? I’m tempted to take Milner off and revert to 4231 with Gini fab double pivot.
