Agreed, its really annoying me seeing this, we play some great passing football, all they want is throw ins and corners...pathetic!

Horrible or not, they beat us. They play great balls into the area and we couldn't handle it even with 3 centre halves.

It's not the balls in that were the problem but the constant cheating that goes with it, blocking off goalkeeper, blocking off defenders so the runner get free. Bloody awful. How the ref and linesman can hold their heads up after that I have no idea. You need to be trained in wrestling against them. awful. I'm annoyed we lost to them as football is the loser here!
Sadly whitburn you are right.. But 2 of their 3 goals were both office AND handball. Ref and Linesman were pathetic. Worst I've seen for a long long time
ref was very poor but we need to learn to defend, I don't begrudge stoke their win, they have to do what they're good at but how can you enjoy watching that? They are so bad to watch, can't pass a ball, no movement, they literally have nothing but set pieces, i'm so glad I don't have to watch that every weekend
If you're playing a team that live off throw-ins, corners, and free kicks, what's the first thing you do? You don't give away silly free kicks, right? And what did we do time and time again in the last half-hour? Hey, I'm as disappointed as anyone, but why are we blaming someone else? Everyone knows what Stoke City's favourite food is - and we fed them it.
I watched the game on TV. Even with super slomo I'm not sure abut the rights and wrongs of the decisions. How are the officials supposed to call it in real time?? Forget decisions, we just couldn't handle the set piece deliveries.
im crushed by that defeat, actually crushed but we can console ourselves with the fact that we are a good football team, we move the ball well and we are a much better team than Stoke, sooner or later Stoke will get found out by their total one dimensional style, thank god we dont have to put up with watching that, lets make sure we beat spurs next weekend and get the european push back on
I posted about how useless halsey was on tuesday, probert was worse.will get dropped to division 1 next game. Stoke do not play football they are w*nk. Why didnt bruce get nedum off, he was out of it with 20 mins to go. Still we played damn fine football today and all bodes well.

My god, I know Stoke play to there strengths, but that was terrible....long ball to the box, win a corner, throw in or free kick........ long ball in the box.......repeat for 90 mins.
