Stoke have only pride to play for, I think their season is over, but Villa and Ipswich are gonna play a big part, if Ipswich still need a result against the Blunts on the penultimate Saturday,, but get relegated, they've nothing to play for on the last day, if we beat Villa and they need to win for a play off place on the last day at Norwich it will be interesting, but I believe there is a few twists and turns to come, one game at time I say
Some nice maths going on lads, but in this league calling the result of any game is nigh on impossible. It's been a few years since we still have had anything to play for in march. A long way to go yet, Let's just enjoy the rollercoaster and ride the fiery breeze that is Leeds United. MOT.
Ipswich will be long gone by then Olof I think. If grealish is still interested or fit villa will be difficult. Without him they are rubbish
Yes mate I agree, Ipswich have a mountain to climb, I think they have had a bit of bad luck, and are a better team than their position suggests, one thing is, they will not want their six fingered neighbours going up, so may do us and the Blunts a favour
Your right, bar a miracle they are down, last two games us and the blades, If it can hurt their neighbours there will be no home and away fans, It will be all for one cause.
Exactly my point Este, but like you and I said, there's a long way to go still and some twist and turns to be had
Are we really naive enough to think that Ipswich will lie down to try to bugger up Norwich? If it was just the fans, then yes, I could see it. But footballers approaching a transfer window & hoping to play anywhere but Ipswich? I think not, personally. Pity though.
Well not really but it could have helped but then so would the Birmingham match. We are where we are. A win and a bit and probably assured of at least play-offs, which by the way I think we would have a good chance in. Win the next two and autos are on.
Losing 3-1 at home to Norwich didn’t help that cause. Top 2 exceeds my expectations for this season so I’ll take either Can't help but feel the next three games will define the season, Sheffield have three very hard games. Although none of the chasing pack will give up, get towards the tail end and they’ll start settling for guaranteed top 6 and we might see some of them resting key players. Very important now for us, win the next two and we’ll have some serious daylight
The last 10 seasons, 73 points have guaranteed a play off spot. Theoretically a win on Tuesday and we can start celebrating the fact that we’ll have interest until the very end of the season. I guess you could say that starts now as any win between now and then gives us the magic number.
Good Morning to Matt and co from a wet Bardsey Daren Moore was doing so well until the new year since then the wheels have c ome offand it dfidn't help when first of all Gayle cheated to get a penalty and thgen Rodriguez tried to score with his hand Who will replace him Monk perhaps Rowett Wagner have all a chance butI still feel that he should have been left to sort it out
When we played them a few pundits felt he was a little clueless, Gayle wasted out wide, we we’re over running them yet he refused to make changes or do anything about it despite an abundance of talent available. When you look at the squad they should be top 2 along with Derby as they both have a wealth of talent but luckily for us incompetent managers. Changing him now means they still want top 2, I’m hoping it’s too late and the ship has sailed.
Anything can happen in next 10 games, teams between 7 and 14 still have a shot at the playoff positions if they put a winning run together, they'll be doing maths as well. Us, Norwich or Blades can lose 2 on trot, and WBA are back in with a chance for top 2 if they get back to winning ways. Draws are not really favourable from here on in to the top 3. A win at Reading and beating the blades will give us a better chance of finishing in top 2. All the teams between 7 and 14 have everything to play for now, and they'll take points of each other reducing the number of teams chances, so playing them is going to be a harder game. I think Norwich will hit a bit of a bad match, probably more draws than losses as their pressure mounts, same for the Blades; trying to hard has a way of back firing. We however, while on paper we seem to have an easier run in, we still need to keep winning with total commitment from whistle to whistle.
Hey EFL can you explain why this shyte club doesnt get a big fine for the way they treated our club and fans and for the way the owner behaved
