“Like a little le tissier” says the commentary.

Seeing that go in gave me a shiver down my spine. I’m now beginning to see the prowse hype

Last time we beat Spurs at home was in 2005. We also beat Liverpool at home a few weeks later if I remember too. They went on to win the Champions League and we got relegated.

    Just saying....

He reminds me of a little Beckham more than a LeTiss.

You're not wrong. I remember the games as if they were yesterday.

A quashie header v spurs and prutton and crouchie against Liverpool. So much false hope that season!

And I had both those first goal scorers. Quashie at 14/1 and Prutts at 33/1.

About the only times I had a bet at a saints game too.

This is not a pop at JWP, more at the comment from the interviewer....... JWP is nothing like a little le tiss. Maybe some people have forgotten just how amazing mlt was. JWP cannot be mentioned in the same breath. Score some more free kicks like that, add some more variety and he might be worthy of comparison in one aspect of his game. I'll accept a mlt comparison once I've seen him have the ball rolled to him, he flicks it up and then volleys it into the top corner.

It's not just that he didn't give Sissoko a straight red for the headbutt. He also, seemingly, changed his mind on booking him for the initial foul. Before the afters occur between Redmond and Sissoko, Friend is clearly reaching for this pocket for a yellow card for Sissoko (for what was quite a nasty tackle).

Post the coming together between the two of them, it's almost as Friend forgot about the yellow card for the foul, and decided to just focus on the afters (and got that wrong too).

He seems particularly bad when a top six team is playing a lower team. He is so biased. Should not be allowed

Last weekend the ref bottled two big decisions, but generally kept control. Kevin Friend just continually let Spurs get away with stuff today, while penalising us for anything remotely resembling contact. He's the sort of ref that makes games boil over because of injustices.
I wouldn't want him near a League Two game.
And add to that, he kinda gives you this blank vacant moronic look when he makes a decision. I'm not going to moan when Roger East rocks up in the game with Brighton. Promise.

The worse thing about the **** ref, instead of giving Sissoko a justifiable red, he gave both players a yellow. Where was the justification in that?

Especially since he was going to give him a yellow for the tackle anyway as he had already got his card out. so he effectively got nothing for the headbutt.

He really frustrates as I think he is biased, but he has been doing it for yeas so either we are blinkered or the powers that be are blind and don’t see anything wrong with it. That is actually the more worrying thing. The powers that be turning a blind eye
