Same two goal scorers as last week then. Imagine what we could do if we had strikers who score? Let’s hope Ings is fit for Brighton
Was starting the vast majority of our games in the second half of last year, as well: 16 out of 20 at one point. Not slagging him at all, but previous managers certainly gave him plenty of time on the pitch without similar returns.
JWP is the highest scoring English midfielder in the league this season. Take a bow young man (and Ralph).
That's not how I remember it under Pellegrino, always seemed like he would play a couple and then get dropped.
Undoubtedly he’s in a superb run of goals scoring form right now like never before. But I’d say his performances were also of a very high quality when he got a run of games last season under MP2. He scored a couple of goals and got a couple of assists if memory serves too before he was randomly dropped again.
Reading the progress of this thread reminded me of the Frys Five Boys Chocolate advert Desperation ... Pacification ... Expectation ... Acclamation ... Realisation "Its a Saints win".
He was so biased I thought that Ides must've been keeping quiet about his secret life as a PL Ref!...
What a result. Love beating Spurs. Didn't see the game as took my bike out on some trails. Great result for Libby and son. Saints obliged me too when I took the nipper to his first game and we beat Everton. Look forward to seeing the highlights. COYR PS can we kick towards the Northam every second half?
