Oh don't start me on that one, or Liverpool. Night we got promoted from Division One I was in a Tesco car park with Southampton based family members. I was clocking Man Utd and Liverpool stickers on the cars. I suggested a competition. Could any of them find Manchester or Liverpool on a map. Mind you, nothing beats glory hunting like one bloke I know. Used to support Liverpool but switched to United a few years back as "Liverpool didn't win anything". On that basis there should be no Saints fans.
No real biggy for us tbh mate. Dier is miles better and returned from injury against Dortmund the other night so should be fit to start.
I'd prefer as many from Tuesday as possible. Our plan is to out energy & destroy, anyone with a knock is going to be hurting after 20 minutes. And don't even think about butchering our song at our home.
And Dier is sloooowww so we need to work on that We also need to mark Kane when he’s in the area which we deemed unnecessary last time out
well i was upset after the utd game at the weekend however has to be said their win last night was stunning!
Looks like Trippier is out! https://thisisfutbol.com/2019/03/bl...ippier-out-of-clash-v-southampton-pochettino/
No surprise there. With the break coming I’d rather he wait and be 100% than take any risks for spuds.
Been awful this season, although Aurier is a brainfart away from conceding a penalty/ getting sent off.
No point in rushing anyone back for this one, but good that we have options and competition appearing on the horizon.
if you are fortunate enough to be going to watch my beloved saints on saturday you'd better sing your hearts out
For years I was embarrased he was our record signing Now I have a fair few more reasons for the same emotion Most of my life with Saints seems to have been blessed by some fantastic cheap signings (eg. Ricky) and embarassing expensive ones (Clasie, Carillo, Boufal, Ramirez (sorry), Osvaldo, Hoedt, Ely) Wanyama, Lemina, VVD, Mane were fine, Gabbi was an understandeable mistake Vestergaard & Ings - can't say yet Once we get down to around the £13m mark we get much better Thats too many in the embarassing list
J-Rod was the perfect record signing. The fee was big, but not blown, the player was good with potential to grow. Those days are gone. Now its like all in at the table....when you don't know whats in the pot.
