Lucky we didn't get knocked out of any cup tournaments when we had to play without HK, or the DGC argument would be seen to be a pile of tosh.

Hey! I’m not the only one, homie!

Problem with Hugo is you never know which one’s gonna turn up these days. Last night he was absolutely excellent. He’ll probably drop a clanger on the weekend.

Thought he wanted Hugo sold and replaced with Grealish (or was it Isco ?? ) .

It was 0-1, he scored the goal which won the leg but he didn't score the goal which sent us through to the last 8 because were safe at 0-0 weren't we?

So if we were safe, why would there have been a need to change things anyway?

Because EVERYBODY was talking about a tactical change and I put my piece in which was derided and I don't see why it was. Why was it derided when we were safe? Son almost scored to make it 0-4 on aggregate which would have made us safer or Eriksen could have scored to make us safer. I'm only answering the derision my suggestion received, it wasn't as if Kane saved the day was it?

Personally, I think the reason that we lost a number of important matches and won, but not played that well was Eric Dier's absence. We looked a lot tougher and more committed when he came on last night. He is not given enough credit.,Furthermore I would be the first to admit that Kane looks a better when Deli is playing, but no deli shouldn't mean no Kane, absolute madness. When you are not making many chances, we had one shot on target last night, you need someone of the stature of Kane to put away that chance.

Spurs get nine million for that win last night, not bad for an evenings graft.

NOBODY mentioned a sub other than yourself. Most acknowledged we were under the cosh which was to be expected but not one person said about making a change of personnel.

Your suggestion was then ridiculed because the person you suggested should be subbed went on to score a crucial goal that sucked the life out of Dortmund and relieved pressure on us, giving us a comfortable second half after an intense first half.

I was thinking sub Sonny, but only because a yellow card would have got him suspended for the next match. So by then I must have been really confident or really pissed..........or both.

One thing discussed on r/coys is how, while people laud the Bundesliga crowds for creating an atmosphere, the issue it ends up becoming white noise as it's the same throughout each and every game so it stops being rousing and starts being the same old same old

Similar can be said for the England supporter's band trotting out their usual medley of The Great Escape, The Dambusters and The Italian Job ad nauseum that has long since ceased to be rousing and instead a source or constant irritation because the same three tunes are played in the same order with the same inability to follow a tune
