Good crowd at Madrid with a good away following. Of course that is because both teams come from big cities with nothing to do compared to 'Ull.
Ajax were always a good team at one point, they were up there with the best, the Dutch were innovative whereas the Italians did nothing but stifle any other opposition, although were good on the break.
The starting XI against us (might not be correct, was from what looked a dodgy site): GK - van Leer LB - Eiting CB - Veltman CB - de Ligt RB - Dijks LM - F. de Jong CM - Schone RM - S. de Jong LW - Younes CF - Huntelaar RW - Ziyech The starting XI vs. Real: GK - Onana LB - Tagliafico CB - De Ligt (c) CB - Blind RB - Mazraoui LM - F. de Jong CM - Schone RM - Van de Beek LW - Neres CF - Tadic RW - Ziyech
A while ago someone posted on a thread about having a poster on ignore but they always knew when that person was been (sic) a cock by other peoples responses. I decided to do the same that day. I'm glad I did. Even though I only ignore the one person it's amazing the number of threads I see this on. Best thing is I won't see the inevitable reply
4,000 Ajax fans there last night at the Berner Bau. Pop. of Amsterdam is 821,000 - about 3 times the size of Hull. So it's like City taking 1,300 to Madrid - a modest enough figure. Perhaps the tulips were coming up in Amsterdam or the windmills needing oiling?
Some on here maybe mentioned about 10 years ago, and then dragged up by you every day in totally irrelevant threads?
I think the main reason for the 4,000 fans being there, was the fact that their ticket allocation was 4,000.
Someone said on Monday that the only reason there was a decent crowd at Sheffield was Sheffield was a dump with nothing to do. Every club who gets more than us or brings more here than we take there only do so because there is nothing else to do there according to City man. Ten years ago...like ****.
