Well Sunderland away is a tough game to have just after the international break and I for one will just be happy with 3 points regardless of how we get them

In saying that bar Drogba (who still has his concussion) we are expected to be at full strength

And this would be the team I would like to play

    Petr Cech in goals

Now my trouble was deciding which 2 of Bosingwa, Alex and Ivanovic i would play on the right side of defence

I decided to continue with Bosingwa and Ivanovic as Alex made a slip against WBA and Brana is fit now so deserves his chance and Bosingwa has played decent enough including a scorcher against Norwich.

I personally, despite fully backing Frank Lampard, would have him sat on the bench this weekend just to try something different

I would have a midfield partnership of Ramires and David Luiz

Both have pace, a creative spark and love carrying the ball forward

Just in front of them i would baptise Raul Meireles, helping the midfield out and supporting the striker when he can

All 3 being Portuguese speakers would help alot too. Chemistry would be expected

On the flanks i would have Daniel Sturridge and Juan Mata, pacey, tricky, creative, full of running at defenders which our current and previous wingers have failed to do and hardly try to do.

Up top would be Fernando Torres, he just needs that spark to get him going, hopefully the pacey wing play of both Mata and Sturridge will inspire him and push him into scoring more frequently.

    So my team

    -----------------------------Petr Cech------------------------

Jose Bosingwa -- Branislav Ivanovic -- John Terry -- Ashley Cole

    --------------------- Ramires ------ David Luiz ---------------

Daniel Sturridge ----------- Raul Meireles ----------- Juan Mata

    ------------------------ Fernando Torres ---------------------

Bench : Hilario , Alex , Mikel , Malouda, Lampard, Anelka, Lukaku

Hope that this is what we go with but expect Luiz at CB and Lampard in the middle with Kalou replacing Sturridge

As much as I've been calling for Lampard to be dropped, it would be harsh doing so now given now poorly Ingerland have treated him over the past week, he needs to start this for his confidence if nothing else

yeah district i agree with the Lampard situation, shouldnt kick him when he is down

Its looking fairly unanimous that Bosingwa has won his place back in the line up whereas the majority of us want Kalou, Anelka and Malouda to just go

Hopefully next summer they get replaced wih more quality youth players

I do agree and i don't agree, if he isn't playing good then he doesn't deserve to make the team which hasn't been the case in the past, but saying that i couldn't exactly say anyone else who should have his place because it's too early and we've only had ramires/mikel/lampard as our midfield so far.
And yeh JCC fingers crossed all 3 go and take turnbull with em, judging by our signings were sorting our pace situation and personally we should just have fun this season and build up to next season and give the youngsters chances at every oppurtunity. Hopefully malouda, anelka, kalou, ferreria, turnbull = out and i reckon alex will leave unfortunatelyand i think hilarios retiring, and hopefully these come in - VDW, Pereira, a very good midfielder - modric, sneidjer, hazard or moutinho and the stoke goalkeeper we've been chasing for a while and add getting Kakuta back from loan and hopefully josh, romelu and romeu would have got some good experience this season and i'll certainly be happy.

And where i say fun i don't mean it as it sounds lol i just mean it as to not feel no pressure as this season is most likely the end of an era for a few players, just cement champions league for next season, and do the best we can in the fa cup, champs league and carling cup and i'll be happy, not expecting much this season as AVB needs a season to get rid of the un-needed players and bring in the real quality

I'll go with that selection, but I feel terrible about leaving Lamps out! If things aren't going to well he must be brought on in the second half.

I like the shape of that team mate, witthout angering the Mikel lovers i think Rambo and Luiz would both give us more from that position. I would probably give Frank another couple of games to up his performances he has always traditionally been a slow starter at the start of the season. Maybe the signing of Meireles gives Frank a serious competition for his place so that can only be a good thing.
Saying that i think the team tomorrow will be
    Cech
    Bos Ivanovic Terry Cole
    Mikel
    Lampard Ramires
    Sturridge Torres Mata

Front 3 im happy with but the midfield is still a problem, thats why a switch to the 4 2 3 1 formation would give us more options in my opinion.

    --------------cech---------
    bos-----terry--ivan-----cole
    ----------ramires-----------
    ---lampard-------meireles---
    anelka------------------mata
    ------------torres------------

that's what I think it WILL be. Can't see Luiz coming in straight away, Mikel had a long journey from Bangladesh during the week so I don't think he'll start and Sturridge hasn't played a game yet due to suspension so can't see him starting. I'm still sceptical as to whether Meireles will start but I really hope Mata does and Malouda doesn't play CM <doh>

Wern't expecting that line-up ( Anelka instead of torres ), And don't see why kalou is on the bench but not Lukaku bit disappointing

I watched the game and there where empty seats all over the ground. A disgrace that you can't even sell out home games. Pathetic support.

when you have experienced what we have over the last 30 years we do well to get the crowds we do, unlike Chelsea who push for titles, regulars in the champions league and also have world class players all over the pitch, **** off man your away support is ****ing embarrassing

So you will only sell out games when you have world class players all over the pitch and you are pushing for titles? Newcastle aren't exactly doing that and they sell out a bigger stadium every week. If you want to know about proper support, just ask the Geordies as they piss all over your pathetic support.

Are you ****ing kidding me?! Chelsea tickets are far to expensive to attend EVERY single game, I have a season ticket and believe that's enough to support my team don't you? You barely filled your own stadium so worry about that before commenting on our away end which may I add is 250 miles away from London <laugh>
