It's not a rivalry it's a bitterness, it's not about Everton winning it's about Liverpool not winning
I agree with you to an extent My worries are all in my head What I would say logically is this is where having won it will help city greatly I still totally believe city will not drop one more point - if they were going to it would have happened in the last two games Instead they got a fortunate decision (we all get them) and forced a goal at Bournemouth Their experience has told that’s all imho I think we needed to have quite a big cushion for the reasons I detailed earlier before heading out to merry Burnley lol If city get to the business end in CL it may come into play but I think the quad momentum will push them on It’s just typical we are fighting this side that are relentless like the tilt under Brendan But I never felt that one was there to win This one WAS but now we have to regroup and fight for it It was never going to be easy
Bournemouth are the nicest team for the top teams to play as they let teams play and they aren't cynical enough. I don't think beating a Bournemouth side means they've won the title. I know how you feel, we're all frustrated at the result because we missed really presentable chances and should've taken one of them but football is football and it doesn't matter how much of a favourite you are things can always turn in the blink of an eye. Look at Man Utd Vs Munich 1999, Liverpool Vs AC in 2005, even the Aguero moment in 2012, that was stuff that changed dramatically in a few minutes, there's 9 full games left yet! On paper City are going to win the rest of their games but that was the case before they kicked off against Palace, Newcastle & Leicester earlier in the season.
Which is why we tried to sign fekir in the summer. The world and it’s wife knows this, the club know it and it will be addressed in the summer. In theory ox should chip in with 5-10 we’ve clearly missed him. Our midfielders aren’t like that, no matter how many times we say it, they aren’t going to turn into gerrard or lamprey and get 15 goals.
Keita was meant to at least partially address the issue but has been , up to now , a disappointment and that is being kind.
For the Everton ball boy giving Klopp a sarcastic applause as he left the field. Thought Klopp was going to chin him. That ball boy and his dad will be drinking on the house tonight I’m sure
Lol ball boy sarcastically clapping a draw. Shows you what a small time **** he and his family must be
