It’s not the point difference that’s the issue, it’s the realisation that the point difference has been eroded at such a rapid pace to its current level over the course of just a month or so. Form is everything in a team like ours; a team that lacks real experience and, let’s be honest, class in many positions, and so the fact we have been bang out of form and continue to show no signs of improvement is what makes it feel like today we lost the title.
Not to me it doesn't, we played well Vs Watford and Everton deserved a point today as they worked very hard. No ****er is giving us this on a plate.
Keïta with a decent game vs Leic where he should have had a match-winning pen, excellent second half vs West Ham & a MOTM performance vs Bournemouth It’s time to have faith in players who can actually contribute
**** performance no creativity against a team who wanted a draw a team that sat back and just whacked it long abd yet we created 3 clear cut chances and should have won 3-0 thats football eh
Nothing that wasn't wrong at start of season... and it took one replacement half a season to get up to speed and the other still doesn't look up to speed. Thems the breaks...as well as another option being out for the season... that on paper could literally be our first pick midfield. Our squad can't match city's over a season... on paper. So... only a point behind them. . That's brilliant...may end up disappointing but Klopp has done what I wanted...we are challenging And the league is my remotely over yet. We all have our least favourite players but the squad has got us up there. There's talk of loser mentality on here but since the lead has changed hands a few times this season I'd say a loser mentality is giving up and blaming the manager and all as soon as it gets tough... (not saying that's you L) Plenty left to feel sick to the stomach overin matches me thinks
Draws against Everton, Manchester United, Leicester and West Ham especially against Leicester and West Ham are very bad.
City signed the prem player of the year from 2 years ago and he sits on their bench most of the season. That’s the difference between the two clubs
Thats when the league went imo. Could have gone 7 clear and momentum would have built. Instead our failings just encouraged City
Because there is too much responsibility on the front 3 to create and score. If they or our full backs can’t, then we’re screwed
PS, I’m sorry you all only hear from me when we underperform. I know I’m “that guy”. But it’s either you lot that hear my guff, or the missus. And she’s less tolerant...
TBF, Salah should have scored today. He could have had a hat-trick. And besides, that's what being three main man is about.
Sums up Everton when biggest cheer of the game was when they managed to not get beaten by us at the final whistle. Got up for their cup final, let’s see what their form is for rest of the season.
Decent... one piece of play, and one good game... Aye.... you convinced me... what was Klopp thinking... I have seen literally nothing about Kieta to say he'd handle today's game and every one knew how Everton would come out.... I repeat... you are slagging off Klopp and calling him a bottler because he won't pick a player who hasn't looked remotely ready for the PL....one player.... We kept waiting on your version of Emre Can too...
