I came from a family of divided loyalties, and my friends of my younger days were also split - that's just how it was then. At that time Everton were genuine competitors and so there was friendly rivalry between us, but no bitterness. I still want to see them do ok, as long as it's not harming us, and the rivalry is still friendly as far as I'm concerned - though the attitude of some of their fans these days tests my resolve somewhat. I get far more satisfaction from beating a current rival than I do from beating them. Every game from here to the end of the season is likely to be a cup final for us - this one is no different. If we drop points tomorrow I'll be no more disappointed than I was when we dropped them to WHam.
spurs need to win this one... big time need to. If they lose this it's not only the title they can forget. they will need to play against us not just turn up. they need to win this one to put arsenal out of it and then focus on cl and quarters. the biggest deal.for their club is winning through to later stages now.
Your entire stadium ran onto the field of play because you thought you'd fluked a win against Bournemouth FFS
Didn’t happen, but you’ve just confirmed your manager is no different to some lashed up, pitch invading fan btw
Less than a minute on the pitch and Lamela is on the deck and moaning to the ref. Such an average player.
**** yellow that Would be gutted if we got that yellow Keepers are way to protected Fair enough free kick but not yellow Ball was there to be won imho
Yeah seemed an odd one, but I guess it's because the studs were up (albeit not intentionally) - I'd be cheesed off as a Spurs fan, but then again 2 losses in a week would cheese me off more!
