I don’t know what’s happened in your life recently but you’ve gone from someone who posts regularly but says nothing to HIAG without the humour. Have you had some sort of breakdown?
Nope... just got short shrift for twats ... couldn't for the life of me see why pieguts thought you were such a bell end ... do now ... your comment about Ranieri's influence on a team that were amongst the favourites for relegation sums you up .... completely clueless
It...was a point for...debate...on a football forum...why do you have to take offence to everything...?...
No offence ...merely debated ... ridiculous comment... how much did you actually see of our campaign that season? ....
So now we aren't allowed to respond when other posters comment about our football clubs coz we are not in the groovy gang? One thing I do respect about Quuents is that he is certainly no sycophant
Less than you presumably though who knows what sort of institution you were in at the time. His teams have been worse than awful before and since including his second season with you, so it’s a fair question.
Every game in fact ... if you'd like me to explain the transformation under Ranieri to you at some ponr, I will .. and happily keep it simple ... now go and do a little more sucking up to the cooler kids ... maybe they'll let you join some day ... although I doubt it tbf ..
Ok explain it then along with why he fell apart the following season and was awful before and since. I’m not even saying you’re wrong. You’ve just taken a bizarre level of offence to a perfectly fair question.
He was awful before? ... he had managed teams to finish second in the French, Spanish, Italian and English leagues ... beaten by teams with either much greater spending power or at the very top of their cycle (Arsenals invincibles) ... Ranieri had us for the pre-season before the title win ... he binned Nigel Pearson's preferred forward, David Nugent, and instead played Vardy through the middle - Pearson had him as a left winger - he paired Vardy withhl the newly signed Okazaki ... 2 midgets ... at first I thought he was nuts ... but it worked ... we put 4 past Sunderland in the opening game and we rarely looked back... He broughht in Danny Simpson and Danny Drinkwater- both had fallen out with Pearson and rarely got a look in ... he then paired the latter with the newly signed Kante after we had lost at home to the Goons. Albrighton was another who had been largely left our in the cold by Pearson Pearson never had the proverbial Plan B ... we went on 2 horrible losing runs with him ... Ranieri got a great reaction after each of the 3 games we lost that season . I'll save the background of what went wrong for another day ... but let's just say a couple of high profile players in the current team didn't cover themselves in glory ... and have negatively tinged my enjoyment of our achievement in the title season
