Well no surprise there. His tactics and tinkering were having no positive effects and there was no chance he would be managing us in the Championship. We may as well give the task to Parker, no-one is expecting us to stay up, and surely he can do no worse.

We have the basis of a good team but our defence is just so poor. We've had our bad luck with Mawson but surely if we were to have a chance in this league we just have at least strengthened in that area in January, having messed up in the summer. We play well at times and it must be so remoralising to go up in a game and then concede such sloppy goals. Just yesterday our formation was just not right. It was glaringly obvious we were exposed on the left wing, free for Southampton to run down and get their crosses in. They could not probably believe what space we gave them, so poor.

We lost the togetherness and spirit of the team that performed so well in the Championship, we wasted most of the £100M and we have got the backs up with supporters. It's such a lost opportunity - but hey ho Premier league brings with it a load of greed, falseness and bull. We start a new chapter and I'll be there to support the manager and team whatever league we are in.

I'm just wondering if there are still two divided camps in the dressing room, that won't change things immediately.
I'm aware that after the Brighton game Cairney came out and said that Scott Parker had taken the halftime talk, as it would seem Ranieri was in a temper, and that seem to prompt a revival. But I doubt his potential at being an experienced coach and there may be a problem of going down the Symons road where he requires a fast learning curve to survive against more experienced managers in the Championship.

If I was Scott Parker the way I'd play this was to put our newer signings & loans into the games against the top teams and say to them prove to us why we brought you to the Premier, if we go down show potential buyers that you are Premier class, if they don't perform then after the Man City game you start to introduce the PL2 players who you think have potential to work in the Championship, show them a flavour of the Premier, make them want to get back up, there are about 4 or 5 with potential.
But at the same time we have to keep our backbone of the team like Cairney, Mitrovic, Sessegnon, Mawson, obviously we need to solve our Center-back problem once and for all along with replacing any of these that leave with equivalent standard.

Best twitter quote of the night:

"From what I remember of Scott Parker the player, he's the best man to turn things round at Fulham. And turn things round again. And then turn them round again. And again."

Good luck to Scotty P, great player 3x HotY, hope he pulls you out of the mess you're in, but can't see it tbh, too little too late.
