Dropped their **** of a keeper and not only do they win, they get a clean sheet... World's most expensive keeper too...
but most.importantly it keeps everyone in battle for 4th with Utd and puts spurs completely out of title race. they've ****ed up most top 6 games... can't do that and expect to win ****.
Classy from Kane. Chases down the ball after Chelsea knock it out for spurs player despite being on the attack... and then puts his head into Azpilicueta. Should be a retro ban for that
So if Chelsea win their game in hand, they move up to 5th, pushing Utd down to 6th - exactly where they started under OGS. #progress
or is it worse that Spurs have lost 2 on the trot since Kane came back? Like they don't play as much as a team with him in the squad. They nearly became title contenders without him. Now they're pretty much out of it.
it's a lesson about talisman. the reality is the more mobile player son did better without the slow and static kane in his way. yesterday mane was everywhere. played amazing as no 9. salah played better on right wing. origi worked hard on left. to fill in. maybe kane should be made.play left wing for spurs.
The race for top 4 is quite interesting. United have the form, chelsea and arsenal are hit and miss and spurs although should be safe, could get dragged right back into it with their fixture list. Good for us in a way as city still have to play spurs and united who could both need the points (although we also play chelsea and spurs at home)
No mention from #bbcsalford about PGMOL handing City the win but the Guardian call it out https://www.theguardian.com/footbal...er-city-west-ham-premier-league-matcvh-report
Exactly. Trent will occupy defenders more than Milner because he’s more of a threat, hence it creates more space for Salah. Also, Trent plays the ball into Salah more frequently.
i dont think your first part is right about occupying defenders it's more about the quality of the ball for me. the balls played to salah last night favoured him but it also helped their left full just couldn't cope with the pace.
Not in the Watford game - they stupidly allowed Trent time on the ball. But generally, he’s a big threat and opposition will look to close him down.
