ncgandy ah yes the same ramblings of a mad man that galileo was locked up for and spent the rest of his living days in jail because he said the world was round, or that of George Orwell and Nighteen Eight-Four, just because a majority says something isnt possible does not mean they are correct, history continualy proves this.
Errrmm ... OK, well to be serious for a moment (), it's a good thing in my view. I can stagger around bumping only into people, instead of buses and cars as previously.
No! They're in a blue tin, individually wrapped in pretty, shiny paper, the whole tin full only cost £5.00 in Tesco's!
You get 11 Roses less in the tin but for the same price! Robbing Kraft Bastards! You can't beat Quality Street!
Alan Partridge Arabian ? Spine baps and 100 ft tall chickens...... Its not insulting, Steve Coogan is genius you are not
On a serious point, and back to the OP (actually not sure if OP WAS a serious point....), I don't know why they don't just pedestrianise everything inside the inner ring road giving access only to Busses, Emergency Vehicles, Delivery Vehicles (before 10am) Taxis and blue badge holders. The only exceptions to this would be the bottom of Prince of Wales road and Rose Lane (make it 2-way) so that access can be gained to the Castle Mall car park. Also would need a route off Queens Road to and from the John Lewis Carpark And Leave Duke Street open to as access to the Car Park there too. Other than that though....
Thinking homely thoughts about the motherland, can you still get Paravani's ice cream? I'd give my right arm for a bowl of that! please log in to view this image
I love a Paravani's ice cream Dave. My dad told me that during the war they were fined because they were making their ice cream too creamy and not rationing the igredients well enough. If that's true perhaps that goes some way to explaining why they taste so nice!
'do you mind if i talk, it keeps the wolf from the door'....''so what do you think about the pedestriansation of norwich city centre'. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RUzZD9NA90I Absolutely classic partridge!
What I remember, apart from the glorious flavour, is the bright yellow colour because it was made with lashings of real butter! Mmmm-mmmm
