He’s on the brink of a meltdown mate, we’ve got a private sweepstake going on his Flounce date if you want in?
A little surprising appointment in the fact that they have gone form one manager trying to play possession-based football to another. Rodgers football can be extremely boring to watch to begin with and you'll see plenty of possession in your own half between the defenders. Vardy didn't like Puel playing it so not sure why Rodgers will be any better... The move makes sense for Rodgers though. Nothing more to achieve in Scotland and they will never really challenge in the CL. Rangers are catching up now so the league won't be a given now either. He will also never get one of the 'big 6' jobs while manager at Celtic so if he can get a couple of top 7 finishes with Leicester then maybe one of the others would go for him - although more likely a London club than the others.... Typical his first game in charge will be coming back to Watford... I think that's the 3rd home match in a row against an ex-manager, and 4 in total (6 if we include Lewington and Zola)

I'm completely and inconsolably devastated ... although it seems to have affected you more, in fairness
Just strikes me as being very much like Puel who many of our fans have hounded out. Then again if they just want someone who will give sound bites in the press they’ll be happy I guess. Not that that applies to Fosse as I don’t recall seeing him want Puel out.
Correct John. I liked what Puel was attempting to do in terms of bringing young players through. That said, his tactics were baffling at times and I felt he disrespected the cups (and thereby the fans wushes). As for Rodgers, arguably the best of those immediately (and realistically) available and hence my comments that the majority of our fans would welcome the appointment ... some of the alternatives were pretty grim
