Is the Board boy around??? Have you seen what Montestrel has been allocated??? It would appear that his last 2 runs have been largely ignored and he’s been handicapped, almost exclusively, on his debut run. After you put him up though and he became a ‘nudge, nudge, wink, wink, say no more…’ animal (stewards have enquired into his last 2 runnings) he’s very much now on my radar. Hindsight is a wonderful thing but think how much lower that rating would have been if mother and daughter had been ‘singing from the same hymn sheet’ after his Cheltenham run! Meanwhile, am relieved to see that Coole Cody hasn’t been given an increase following Flemcara’s win last week.

Cor blimey bit of a shock to see that the first lady of horse racing, Mrs Harrington, has axed Colm O’Donoghue and replaced him with Shane Foley. Seems to revolve around O’Donoghue deciding to stay a bit longer in Dubai riding for Godolphin. A decision Mrs H wasn’t happy with.

afternoon fellas! leicester,2 00: the fact that NORTHERN BEAU is still a maiden,is a slight negative, but her consistency cant be knocked, and she ran well enough in the circumstances here last time out, against a much higher rated rival.so,this could be the day to shed her maiden tag..also not badly treated..
a short look ahead to catterick,2 20: TRAPPER PEAK won well enough last time out,and though up 6 lbr for that, has won off higher marks in the past,so should be competitive here today..
catterick,2 50: well, most of the fancied ones here are quite close on what theyve shown so far,but a narrow vote goes to ex-flat horse AL KHERB.he had the misfortune to bump into some very useful rivals in two starts so far,and this looks a good bit easier today,so a good run may be forthcoming..
An all-the-way winner makes it a quickfire treble! VWD jumpsfan.! Just wish you'd stuck 'em in one post earlier, I'd have done a Patent.
Whatever works for you, jumpsfan baby. You're a star. Oooooh - meanwhile, the first have gone in on both of my L15s.
catterick,3 50: basically a match between SHAMAN DU BERLAIS and hogans height.both are in very good order at present, but the latter has to prove conclusively, that he stays this trip, althouvh on this sharp track,it shouldnt be an issue.but the former made a thriving rival, and next time out scorer, work hard last time out,in a handicap, and on that form, looks the one to beat here..
