Henricksen's option ends in March, Adkins was hinting at it in the press conference chat with with Burnsy. You can listen to it on the Iplayer at https://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/p071lfph Adkins said the club will address it in March, so we shall wait and see.
Henriksen will surely get a better deal elsewhere for his career and financially also. I know a small percentage of our fans have unrealistic expectations of loyalty in football dating back to how it was 40 years ago or more but a player at his age with much better options will leave. He seems only able to produce his best if he is played in a certain way with certain players so maybe this is one player we could actually get away with losing. I don't know what Campbells deal is but he is much more likely to stay given he scores more for us than anybody else and probably plays more too. We have options with Keanes contract to be extended for a year and it is still not too late for him if Adkins takes note of what Lambert and his coaching staff are doing with him at Ipswich.
I think those defenders will have played a few more games than Keane, I'm not saying he is great, I m just saying, what I have seen in both the U23's when he played for them and his games in the 1st team, there are signs of a player in there, we have not seen the best of him as he just has not had a run of games. A player that has had the length of time out injured that he has needs a few months of playing regularly to get up to speed. Lambert seems pleased with his all-round game, so let's see how he finished the season off.
I realise that, but just feel he has been unlucky with injury and for that reason has never had a run if games to get into any sort of form. I hope he goes on and does well, as I still feel there is a player in there, he just needs a run of games, which he appears to be getting at Ipswich now.
Brentford have been on the verge of giving someone another tonking, Blackburn got mullered the other week, Norwich will put 6 passed us.
