To say it comes as a great shock to discover the country where you were born and call home, the country you love and owe so much to, may not think of you as being an equal citizen, would be an understatement. For this week, myself, along with millions of others, were made to feel for the first time that we weren’t as British as we thought we were. That the sigh of relief and sense of comfort I had in knowing no matter how hostile the environment became, I was safe because, ‘I was born here’, is based on a myth. It’s become crystal clear to me that there are those who are ‘British British’ and those of us who are British only until the Home Secretary decides otherwise.

What the journalist, Mr Basit Mahmood, doesn't mention in his article is why there is a law to allow stripping of citizenship in the first place. He also doesn't mention anything that she's been involved in whilst on her jaunt with Isis or what other "British" Jihadi have done in the name of the Prophet.
