Think the dufference is all about tradition. Imagine this had happened at Leeds Utd. All the academy sides mingle with the first team squad in the restaurant and rest areas. The kit man the tea ladies, the cleaners, the security staff all on first name terms with the manager, staff and first team. Jose' comes in and says fk all to anyone not in the first team and hardly then. Jose has no idea who does what even coaching staff in the academy, so doesnt see the plays, tactics or know who the kids are and doesnt want to know. Morale falls, .... . Oli comes in and knows the dinner ladies, kit man, security.stops to say good morning to everyone and has a chat. Visits the academy and speaks to coaches and says he would like x y and z looking at then spends spare time watching and learning what the kids are good at... he knows the whole machine works when all the moving oarts are involved.... Bielsa knows everyone and speaks to everyone on the staff. He speaks to individual players when he wants them to learn something. Olie is putting back bits that were trashed when Moyles took over as he sacked a lot of staff and brought his own in. All downhill from there as nobody was interested but now it all works again. Its not rocket science its just management and courtesy
Whilst on about Manager’s I like the chat and speculation on Lampard being in charge at Chelsea, he definitely is the one to completely fck em up, the owner has lost interest and his visa for UK, they have just got a transfer embargo placed on them, all looking good for them blue nosed cnuts
Got sick of pointing out our lack of a proven striker up front. Just hope we can put a couple past bolton cos if we dont i give up. Then maybe we can scrape the play offs.
Lucky they got fined for failing to control their players. If they'd breached the 'good faith' charter (not even a rule) when they were punching each other, they'd be done for 200K #onlyforleedsunited
Evening all, U23s 2 down at half time, though they have been the better team. Didn't see the first goal, Bonatini got the second, they've made the most of their chances First peep at Bogusz, looks the part. Berardi is enjoying himself bursting forward(!), a few meaty tackles, just what you'd expect - no sign of rustiness actually, which is good. McCalmont is a talent, waiting for Kun and Hosannah to show me what all the fuss is about. This is the first time ever that I've been able to see a bit of the U23s, fair play to LUTV.
