Marc Albrighton and Daniel Amartey are both out and Nampalys Mendy is a doubt. I think 95% of us will agree on the team

    Schmeichel

    Ricardo
    Maguire
    Evans
    Chilwell

    Ndidi
    Tielemans

    Gray
    Maddison
    Barnes

    Vardy

Subs- Ward, Morgan, Fuchs, Choudhury, Ghezzal, Iheanacho, Okazaki

Its a shame the other 5% is Claude Puel <laugh>

I'd go with that team, or with Ghezzal replacing Gray.

Thats the team. Come out roaring at home for a change and we could rip them one.

I don't like Gray on the right as he is a natural left winger and strays too much so I'd play him there and drop Barnes - throw him on at the end when Gray has knackered their RB.

I'd put in Choudhury on the right to pretty much man-mark Zaha - that bugger has a bad habit of scoring against us...

Next 9 games all winnable IMHO - so Puel will be judged on this - we ain't going down not unless we have the calamity of all calamity's.
lets hopefully get to the magic 40 - take stock - and remember what it was like less than 10 years ago..

bloody hell less than 10 years ago i think my wife still loved me .. how times change <laugh><laugh><laugh>

...my view ... Choudhury deserves to be in the team on performance ... but not sure where <cheers>

I think Tielemans is nailed on - and one of N’didi and Choudhury needs to be next to him to win it back. Interesting how Mendy was chosen before he got injured though.

I think there is more chance Simpson playing right back and Ricardo on the wing then Choudhury playing on the wing

But with Puel you never know

He's played there before vs Man City and did a good job stifling De Bruyne.

Personally I think we need to stop playing full backs on the wing, wingers up front or down the middle and all that

We dont have loads if injuries so put players in their actual position. Much rather see Ghezzal start right wing then Choudhury

It has a negative effect on players when they see people playing in their position when they are on the bench

He did a good job so I'd start him there to mark Zaha and cover Pererra when he attacks.

I agree but in this case Palace are very lopsided when they play with Zaha as they try to give him the ball as much as possible so having someone cover him makes sense.

Ghezzal would not be suited to that role so I see no reason why he would have an negative effect - if I was saying to play Chaudery as a proper winger then that would take the piss.

Either way we shall see what happens - it is also likely that Zaha will play on the other wing or up front so would a tactical error in the long run but that is what I think while armchair managing.

While Zaha is a very good player he still lacks end product. Chilwell managed Salah superbly a few weeks ago likewise Ricardo has been superb in recent months

I wouldnt make any special tactical changes over him

Puel has said Chilwell and Maddison are doubts

Fuchs and Choudhury should come in if they miss out for me. And push Tielemans into Maddisons role

Have they not just been sitting on a beach for two weeks? Hopefully not and they have been figuring out how to win the next half dozen games.

If Maddison doesn't make it, I'll expect Puel to bring back Vardy and drop Gray in to the number 10 role.

Gray is beyond useless in the 10 role. Rather see Barnes come inside

If Chilwell is out as well then I'd want Gray as LW - has experience covering for Fuchs who has slowed down a bit.

I would also like to see Tielemans as #10 as you mentioned earlier - lets see what he can do without having to worry about defending.

    Schmeichel

    Ricardo
    Maguire
    Evans
    Fuchs

    Ndidi
    Choudhury

    Ghezzal
    Tielemans
    Gray

    Vardy
